The creative city is a place for the development of creativity in dynamic of community's creative clusters; these clusterss maintain and nurture creative class with expertise and skills in them. Universities with support of daily lives of thousands of students are appropriate context to the emergence of new ideas, creative events, open of science and art valves and ultimately nurture of the creative class which could have a profound impact on the promotion of the creative community. Universities as a gathering place of talents and creative intellectual powers with creating a genuine sense of community are valuable assets of cities that can be used as a creative polarity to achieve a creative city's goals. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the Art University of Isfahan adjacent to Naghsh Jahan square as a creative cluster which focused on effectiveness of open spaces, give opportunity to the creative class and promotion of creativity culture. In this context, this paper seeks to answer the question of the “What has the creative potentials of adjacent space between Naghsh Jahan square and the Art University of Isfahan to become polarized? And how and how much this space has been successful in attracting and promoting the creative class?” To answer these questions, this paper presents a qualitative approach through theoretical study with the content analysis of texts and literature which with a definition of the creative class , examine the role of urban creative clusters in attraction of this class and the role of environmental factors in these places to attract the creative class. Then by analyzing the Naghshe Jahan square and the Art University of Isfahan as two creative clusters; by qualitative approach and by analyzing the interactive relationship between these clusters extract the absorbent place criteria of creative class in the adjacent space between these places. At the end, with quantitative analysis the permeability of Naghshe Jahan square and the Art University of Isfahan by the adjacent space between them as a place with potential of absorbing creative class has been done. The final outcome of this article is to achieve the absorbent place criteria of creative class in the adjacent space of Naghshe Jahan square and the Art University of Isfahan and give strategies to build bridges of communication inside and outside the arena, in order to attract and retain the creative class by changing this place to the open space of university.
