Bagh-e Nazar, the academic journal of Nazar Research Center for Art, Architecture and Urbanism (NRC), publishes articles in the field of theoretical studies of art, architecture, urbanism, landscape design, archeology, tourism, and related areas such as philosophy, sociology, psychology, and history. The journal  aims to introduce new achievements in art and architecture, to improve the quality of art and architectural research in Iran, develop the cooperation between local and international experts and publish the international achievements in the field of art and architecture.

Bagh-e Nazar follows a double blind peer-review policy, and the submitted articles will be published after three rounds of reviewing and editorial approval. Being innovative and original, as well as using up-to-date references in scientific subjects and authentic sources and documents in local subjects are required for the submitted articles. The journal publishes theoretical and qualitative articles and does not publish articles based on statistical data.

Bagh-e Nazar uses iTenticate for checking similarity and plagiarism for English manuscripts and Hamyab far Persian manuscripts.

Bagh-e Nazar is indexed in Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index), the Islamic World Science Citation (ISC), Iran Scientific Information Database (SID), AATA EBSCO, and Ulrich databases and also a member of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). The journal is open access under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 and makes its content freely accessible.
