This article is in the East side of main building Eram Tile painting (A beautiful garden located in Shiraz, Iran) with cognitive narrative approach to reading. The review confirms the necessity and validity of these readings is syntagmatic images. Eram Paradise entrance that has three sunny arcs. The piece consists of three illustrated Parliaments:
1 - Rustam at the Shrine of Prophet Solomon (AS), 2 - being senseless abigails seeing the Beauty of Prophet Joseph (AS), 3 - watched Shirin starlings in fountains by Khosrow and 4 - Portrait of King Nasser-aldin mounted on horseback in the center (these assemblies are illustrated in three solar crescent; up, right and left). Why did the artist choose this three stories among many lyric, epic and ethnic thematic in literature. Why did he set them with this geographical positions? And etc.
These three stories set besides each other to convey unique meaning. The researcher will read the narrative of each parliament. The exact look and content gives them insight into the composition and Ordering and then to reflect on their Ordering In this reflection, common visual elements of this picture tells Parliament.
Extra-textual reference to the three parliaments and their relationship with the image of king in the center (the center can be seen as a symbol of authority), the review is the image tile So that the era of King Nasser-aldin of the central features prominent figures of main characters (Purity of Prophet Joseph (AS), Honesty of Prophet Solomon (AS) and the lyricism of Khosrow and Shirin) has borrowed. What is important in this study, it is adjacent to each image, with his Companion, and images are common elements in a visual discourse..visual symptoms are exacerbated or changed meanings. Although The Prophet Solomon and Joseph are religious figures and Rustam and Khosrow have epic and lyrical themes while they are the symbol of powerful kings however the Prophet and Zolykha and Shirin are the symbol of "imaginary lovers and implicate lyrical and heroic, but the lyrical, religious and heroic contents of the tile paintings around Nasser-aidin are guard of his power and legitimates as the heart of his position (center) in Iranian people and even the cosmos.
Now there are some researches about Iranian tile paintings. For example a master science these with this subject “Studies Shiraz tiles narrative motives at Qajar era’. Also research and studied have been done about tiles and their functions like Maher al naghsh’s work and Hadi Seyf. But the thoughts of Rolan Barret about text interpretation has high ability to apply for interpretate art texts as we use it in this research.
