kufic inscriptions in Islamic architecture are the masterpieces of the Islamic world and Iran. Some of the caravanserais of Razavi Khorasan are considered as architectural decorations. But some of these buildings have not been extensively studied since ancient times. Building inscriptions are usually one of the most prominent architectural elements that guide a researcher from different angles. Therefore, we need to know the inscriptions to study in terms of writing, goals, types of lines, etc. We examine and determine the impact of the buildings on the identity of the studied monuments.
This article attempts to compare the inscriptions with comparative comparisons and correct some unreadable readings and incorrect readings of some of the inscriptions. Accordingly, the authors, with a critical approach to reading the inscriptions and utilizing the remaining texts and documents, attempted to offer suggestions on the recreation of the inscriptions on Robat-e-mahi and the dating of some buildings.
The present study was designed using historical and survey methods; firstly, the effects of the texts were recorded and recorded by survey data surveys. Then, in a historical approach, with the library work, the first hand sources, documents of past photographers and then by analyzing and classifying the data were attempted to be identified in the past, in detail, to clarify historical, political, and economic identities of these buildings.
