Landscape biography is a historical and interdisciplinary approach that deals with the interaction between the audience and the environment. This approach examines the changing nature of human hands in a phenomenological way and is less well known in Iran. Given the rich history of the country, it is necessary to understand this approach and to use it in the planning of historical landscapes that form a large part of our land. Understanding its philosophical roots can be helpful in understanding this approach. This approach first emerged because of the confrontation with the viewpoints of object-mind separation in the landscape and the use of phenomenological foundations. Husserl's views as the father of phenomenology on the world of life and Heidegger as the philosopher who brought phenomenology to the ontological level and linked it with hermeneutics, and Gadamer as the developer of philosophical hermeneutics, used in landscape biography. Is located.
The main purpose of this study is to better understand the roots of modern history as the main feature of this approach. History in landscape biography is not defined as a continuation of the past, present and future, but rather a nonlinear one. The main question of this research is to find the roots of nonlinear and dynamic history of landscape biography. The descriptive-analytical method examines the theoretical roots of this approach in phenomenology and hermeneutics and compares these roots with the historical features in landscape biography. Finally, the profound effects of time philosophy from the perspective of hermeneutic phenomenology on the new perspectives of history were shown in this approach. The history of the landscape is just like Dasein's, and always with him. For, according to Heidegger, it is not the past that is valuable but originality with the future.
