This architectural element has been used in residential and non-residential buildings in various methods and ways from distant years. In this regard, archaeological evidences are the only valid indices by referring to which we can tacitly learn about the record of buttresses. Where and how it has first been used is not known, and nowhere has it been explicitly referred to. Even archaeologists have tacitly and briefly referred to it in their excavation reports. However, based on accessible limited reports, expansive application of this structure can be dated to post-Neolithic era when architects became aware of structural performance of this element and gradually with their part experiences; they used it in a different way with better structural performance. In this research, studied about Buttress types in terms of position, form and shape, used material, execution technique, ornament and technical function. By studying buttresses built during pre-historic and historical period, it will be seen that there were no structural scientific frameworks based on findings related to the strength of materials and mechanical rules. Little by little and through time, architects began to understand structural performance and structural perception of buttresses, owing to the experience and deep attitude towards the nature and behavior of masonry buildings. They emphasized not only the balance in forces, but also their appearance and esthetics. Lack of comprehensive research in this regard necessitated this research, and this issue was dealt with through library studies and descriptive and analytical research method.}, keywords = {Iranian architecture,Pre-historic era,Historical period,Typology of Buttress structure}, title_fa = {گونه‌شناسی و سیر تحول پشت‌بندها از ابتدا تا انتهای دوران تاریخی در معمــاری ایــران}, abstract_fa = {دیوار پشت‌بند به عنوان یک سازة بنایی، نقش مهار نیروی رانشی دیوار اصلی را به عهده دارد. این عنصر معمارانه از سالیان دور، در بناهای مسکونی و غیرمسکونی، به شیوه‌ها و انواع مختلف استفاده شده است. در این راستا شواهد باستان‌شناسی، تنها شاخص معتبری هستند که می‌توان با رجوع به آنها از پیشینة دیوارهای پشت‌بند به صورت ضمنی آگاه شد. اینکه اولین‌بار در چه بنایی و کجا استفاده شده مشخص نیست، درجایی هم به صراحت به آن اشاره نشده و حتی باستان‌شناسان نیز در گزارشات حفاری خود به اشاراتی کوتاه و ضمنی بسنده کرده‌اند، ولی مبتنی بر گزارشات محدود در دسترس، می‌توان به صورت احتمالی استفادة گسترده از این سازه را از دورة نوسنگی به بعد دانست که معماران به عملکرد سازه‌ای این عنصر آگاه شده و به مرور زمان با تجربیات گذشته خود از گونه‌های متفاوت آن استفاده کردند. در این پژوهش گونه‌های متفاوت پشت‌بندها از لحاظ موقعیت قرارگیری، فرم و شکل، مصالح به‌کاررفته، فن اجرا، کارکرد فنی و تزیینات پشت‌بندها تقسیم‌بندی و مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. با مطالعه دیوارهای پشت‌بند در دوران پیش از تاریخ و دوران تاریخی، مشاهده خواهد شد که هر چند در زمان گذشته یک چارچوب ساختاری با زیربنای علمی، بر‌اساس یافته‌های مربوط به قدرت مصالح و قوانین مکانیک‌ها وجود نداشته ولی بر‌اساس تجربه و نگرش عمیق به ماهیت و رفتار ساختمان‌های بنا شده، کم‌کم و به مرور زمان به درک ساختاری و عملکرد سازه‌ای بهتر دیوارهای پشت‌بند دست پیدا کردند و نه تنها در تعادل نیروها بلکه در ظاهر و زیبایی آنها نیز تأکید داشتند. عدم تحقیق جامع در این خصوص ضرورت پژوهش را ایجاب کرد که با ابزار مطالعة کتابخانه‌ای و روش تحقیق توصیفی و تحلیلی به این مهم پرداخته شود.}, keywords_fa = {معماری ایران,دوران پیش از تاریخ,دوران تاریخی,گونه شناسی پشت‌بند}, url = {http://www.bagh-sj.com/article_16291.html}, eprint = {http://www.bagh-sj.com/article_16291_36b5952fb42ce8de197e08fab87578ba.pdf} }
